How To Install Mirth Connect On Windows

In My previous post we learned how to setup database for Mirth installation new lets motion towards actual  installation.

Step 1:

Download Mirth connect setup from here. choose setup every bit per your Os.

Every bit My bone is Win-7 (64-bit) so I'k installing windows 64 bit version ->mirthconnect-three.0.i.7051.b1075-windows-x64

Step ii:

Double click on downloaded exe and follow steps shown below.

Pace iii:

It will evidence below dialog if you accept not installed java runtime environs (JRE).

download and install JRE from here.

Step 4:

After installing JRE click on locate and requite path of JRE i.eastward.C:\Program Files\Java\jre7\bin\coffee.exe.

Information technology volition start installing Mirth setup as shown below.

Mirth Connect has been installed successfully now open Mirth Connect Administrator from Start card.

or open up http://localhost:8080 in browser information technology will open below screen.

Click on Launch Mirth Connect Administrator push button.

If y'all are launching the ambassador for the first time, yous will notice that the libraries for the Mirth Connect Administrator will be loaded. This feature allows you run the Administrator from whatsoever remote Mirth Connect server without having to download and install a separate client.

You may also notice a security warning when starting the administrator (dialog box depends on browser being used). This is normal and yous should click Run to continue launching the ambassador.

In login window enter

Username: admin

Password: admin

After login its shows Dashboard with new screen to set new Admin password and account details every bit shown below.

Step :17

At present open Mirth Connect Server Director, you can open up it from Taskbar or in beginning card.

Start card -> All programs -> Mirth Connect -> Mirth Connect Server Manager

Open database tab and alter type to sqlserver

In last post nosotros have created new db and user for mirth, only enter database details.

Yous need to enter database connection in beneath format.

jdbc:jtds:sqlserver://your sql server ip or computer name:port/database name;instance=instance name

Every bit I'one thousand too connecting to local database so My connection cord is as shown below.

jdbc:jtds:sqlserver://ADMIN-PC:1433/mirthdb;case=MSSQL

Where

ADMIN-PC is My computers name

mirthdb is database name

and MSSQL is My sql case name.

Instead of computer name you can utilize localhost or 127.0.0.i.

Enter user name and countersign then click on Start in service tab.

You volition get notification after starting service successfully as shown beneath.

Now lets see what is created in given database i.e mirthdb

Open up mirthdb in SSMS you volition notice beneath tables are crated.

These tables are used to save aqueduct config by mirth internally.

Thats it now you can start working on mirth dashboard.
